Terms of use
Last updated: July 2026
These terms govern your use of Glytre. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
We provide a wedding photo and video gallery where hosts can create a private gallery and guests can join with a code, browse shared media, and upload their own content subject to host settings.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your password secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Password recovery uses the security question you chose at registration.
- We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms or misuse the service.
Your content
You retain ownership of photos, videos, and captions you upload. By uploading, you grant us and other members of the relevant wedding gallery a non-exclusive licence to store, display, and share that content within the gallery as the service is designed to work.
You confirm that you have the right to upload the content and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights. Do not upload content depicting people unless you are allowed to share it with wedding guests.
Acceptable use
You must not use the service to:
- upload illegal, harmful, harassing, or offensive material;
- upload malware or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service;
- impersonate others or misrepresent your relationship to a wedding;
- scrape or overload the service beyond normal guest use.
Wedding hosts may approve, disable, or remove people where those features are available. We may remove content or access that violates these terms.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify features or these terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for loss of data, unauthorised access caused by factors outside our reasonable control, or disputes between guests and hosts about shared content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Privacy
Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information, including cookies and data hosted on Microsoft Azure.
